Donation Policy
What We Accept
The library welcomes the following:
- Recently published books (within the last 5 years)
- Hardcover and paperback books in good condition
- Contemporary and classic fiction
- Popular non-fiction such as cookbooks, biographies, history etc.
What We Cannot Accept
The library is unable to accept the following:
- Books in poor or damaged condition (e.g., dirty, moldy, water-damaged, missing bindings or pages, heavily marked, stained, yellowed or torn) or clearly outdated materials
- Fiction or non-fiction books more than 10 years old
- Books discarded by other libraries
- Incomplete volumes of book series
- Outdated journal publications
- Magazines (bound or unbound)
- Outdated textbooks
- Outdated reference books
- Outdated encyclopaedias
- Toys, games, puzzles or artwork
- Photocopied books
